Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive Salesforce solutions sales. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Salesforce products, enterprise sales cycles, and partner-led solution selling. You will be responsible for lead generation, client engagement, and closing deals to accelerate our Salesforce practices growth.



Requirements


1. Business Development & Sales:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for Salesforce consulting and implementation services.
  • Engage with C-level executives, IT heads, and decision-makers to pitch Salesforce solutions.
  • Work closely with Salesforce AE (Account Executives) and partner ecosystem to drive sales.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, LinkedIn outreach, events, and inbound inquiries.
  • Own and manage the end-to-end sales cycle – from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline using CRM tools like Salesforce Sales Cloud.

2. Account Management & Client Relationships:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs, pain points, and recommend customized Salesforce solutions.
  • Work with the delivery team to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Upsell and cross-sell Salesforce products & services to existing clients.

3. Market Research & Strategy:

  • Analyse market trends, competitor strategies, and Salesforce product updates.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for Salesforce industry-specific solutions.
  • Provide inputs for marketing campaigns, whitepapers, and webinars to generate leads.

4. Proposal & Contract Negotiation:

  • Prepare sales proposals, RFP responses, and presentations for client meetings.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and SLAs with clients.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales & technical teams to design winning Salesforce solutions.

Required:

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets & revenue goals.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Partner ecosystem is a plus.
  • Ability to engage with CXOs, IT Heads, and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce CRM or other sales tools
