Role Summary:

• We are seeking a motivated and skilled Production Support Engineer
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux systems, deployment processes, and tools like Putty, Swagger, and SQL Developer.
• A good understanding of deployment practices for JAR files, along with familiarity with Confluence and Jira, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Linux-based production systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and infrastructure-related issues promptly.
• Handle deployment activities, including managing and deploying JAR files into production and pre-production environments.
• Work closely with development teams to validate deployment changes and resolve deployment-related issues.
• Use SQL Developer to analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot database queries.
• Perform routine database checks and ensure data integrity.
• Use Swagger to test and validate APIs in production.
• Identify and resolve API-related issues affecting production systems.
• Utilize tools like Confluence and Jira for documenting solutions, tracking tasks, and managing incidents.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Linux systems and terminal tools like Putty, Swagger
• Experience with SQL Developer for database querying and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Swagger for API testing and validation.
• Hands-on experience with deployment processes, particularly involving JAR files.
• Working knowledge of Confluence and Jira for documentation and task management.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL frameworks is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in production support.
• Ready to work night shifts - Shift Plan is as follows.

2nd 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM

3rd 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM

• Education: Bachelor's degree, IT, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
