Summary:As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the applications and providing support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of application performance and stability.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Provide support to end-users and address their queries and concerns.

Monitor application performance and stability, and take proactive measures to improve them.

Perform regular maintenance tasks and ensure the smooth functioning of applications.

Document and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to application support.

Assist in the implementation of new applications and upgrades.

Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding of the applications.

Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support when required. Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Commvault Backup Administration.

Strong understanding of backup and recovery concepts.

Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Commvault backup.

Knowledge of storage technologies and backup infrastructure.

Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with other backup solutions such as Veritas NetBackup or Veeam Backup & Replication.

Experience in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.

Understanding of cloud backup and recovery solutions.

Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and execution.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Commvault Backup Administration.

This position is based at our Indore office.

A 15 years full-time education is required.Qualifications15 years full time education
