Job Title: Oracle DBA and PLSQL Developer.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle DBA and PLSQL Developer with expertise in database architecture, design, and administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performance tuning, database management, and programming knowledge in Python or any other similar programming knowledge experience(Basic level), ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Database Architecture & Design

• Architect and design scalable, secure, and highly available database systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to plan and optimize database schema, queries, and stored procedures.
• Evaluate and implement database solutions to meet project requirements.

2. Performance Tuning & Optimization

• Analyse database and application performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement strategies such as indexing, query optimization, and caching for optimal performance.
• Continuously monitor and fine-tune database systems for scalability and efficiency.

3. DBA Activities

• Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage and monitor Oracle database environments, ensuring timely upgrades and patch management.
• Ensure robust database security, data integrity, and compliance with best practices.

4. Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with developers, data engineers, and IT teams to integrate and maintain database systems.
• Document database architectures, performance tuning strategies, and maintenance practices for organizational knowledge sharing.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in Oracle database administration and development, with strong expertise in PLSQL.

• Programming Knowledge: Proficiency in Python or similar programming frameworks to support application development and database integration.

• Technical Expertise:
• In-depth knowledge of database architecture, design principles, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale database systems, including backup, recovery, and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle-specific tools and technologies
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
