Job Description

Reporting to: GM - International Business

Location: Mumbai

Job Purpose:

Identifying and acquire new potential customers and achieve targeted amount of sales

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifying & managing new customers for potential business development towards acquiring high value customers and strategically securing profitable business by cold callings and emails.
  • Working with different time zones as per the region assigned for sales
  • Utilizing social networking opportunities to facilitate sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Look after advertising and sales promotional activities.
  • Representing company by attending at trade exhibitions or events and also co-ordinate for stall designing to participation.
  • Organize customer meets and get together as per business plan.
  • Maintain & track customer database and maintain periodically/periodic customer satisfaction survey/feedback.
  • Setting the monthly targets and achieving the Targets.
  • Should be responsible for marketing on overseas Level, Corporate Sales and do B 2 B company visit.
  • Support management in decision, consult for sales promotion and take interview for sales person.
  • Preparing & sending the quotation of the customer against their order confirmation.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the sales and marketing from pricing, negotiations, contract development, ensuring successful order fulfilment and after sales commitments.
  • Do analysis of customer research, current market conditions and executing marketing strategies and campaigns. Survey and analyze competition strategy and moves and propose actions where required.
  • Should develop and setup new overseas market and also have good exposure to US and Europe market.
  • Developing and maintaining sales territory Plan and ensuring achievement of Company sales targets and profitability.
  • Understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Define and implement the product range & product positioning based on industry analysis and new product range.
  • Monitor success of marketing product range & initiate corrective actions where necessary.
  • Define product price list based on market price and cost analysis.
  • Train Sales Team with regard to marketing strategy and product positioning.
  • Developed good relationship with customers through personal contact or meetings.
  • Good co-ordination with factory unit for order dispatch and regular visit as and when required.
  • Act as a bridge between the company and its current market and future markets.
  • Maintaining and monitoring daily activity report.

Required Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills (Preferred/Essential)

Qualifications

BE/B.Com/BMS /BBA (Essential))

MBA /PG (Preferred)

Experience (Preferred/Essential)

7-8 yrs (3-4 yrs exp in sales in Western Countries)

Knowledge

Experience of Sales in Western Developed Countries EU, UK, US, Australia) Essential

Packaging Industry Knowledge preferred

Experience of B2B Sales for Chemicals, Packaging, Allied industries Essential

Prerequisite

6-7 times travel in a year to the assigned region

Software Skills (Preferred/Essential)

CRM Software Preferred

Soft Skills (Preferred/Essential)

Good Communication & interpersonal Skills

Collaboration/communication with people of diverse backgrounds
