Cost Engineer

Evaluation/calculation of cost cases for new and existing components.
Suggest cost reduction measures according to calculated cost
Cost calculations for reference/target cost and negotiations for new components
Understanding of cost and drivers and independent cost calculations with minimal support
Should understand product cost and cost drivers.
Knowledge about different machines, machines hourly rate, overheads etc.
Make costing and benefit analysis for new projects
Should Cost Analysis and RFQ Management, Price negotiation.
Support Customer/supplier meetings and negotiations to challenge quotation prices and aim for cost reductions
Organize, and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings
