Hiring _ Automotive Costing Engineer

Job Description

Essential Skills Should have experience to work on Directional costing and should costing (using different tools & excel method)

Should have knowledge of global should costing

Should have experience to work on renegotiation, vendor rationalisation

Knowledge of costing methods to support product team for Sheetmetal & Plastic parts

Establish cost assessment work plans to support program milestone timing

Manage cost assessment process to establish cost targets (material & supplier tooling) to support product team

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Experience working with Purchasing in Sheetmetal & Plastic components. OEM background will be an added advantage

Working experience in automotive sourcing.

Overall knowledge of various systems of automotive vehicles

Aptitude for new technologies in costing

Coordination and management of all costing activities with different functions/verticals to get the required inputs

Experience to work on costing of standard parts, Proprietary items

Should possess good written and verbal communication skills
