Production Operations Analyst I, Support Ops

Provide mentorship and guidance for other team members..
Lead business efforts for various client data needs and drive them to completion.
Serve as a resource for executing ad-hoc data requests, custom reports, test scenarios, data migration, data analysis and quality assurance testing in a production environment.
Migrate and modernize legacy reporting into dynamic, robust self-service reporting systems..
Provide expertise and translate the business needs to design; and develop tools, techniques, and metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization.
Seek and establish and implement process improvements at the direction of the department manager.
Responsible for establishing appreciation and adherence to the principles of data quality management, including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.

Essential Traits.
A bachelors degree in computer science or a related field, and 4+ years of experience in processes and standards related to data, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience..
Proficient with data engineering fundamentals including data extraction, transformation and load using databases with large data volumes.
Excellent written and verbal communications.
Commitment to obtaining outstanding results, delivering high quality work with a client centric mindset.
Significant experience in the design, development, and review of complex SQL and Python scripts.
Demonstratable technical experience with some of the following:.
Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
Scripting and exploration: Python, SQL.
