SAP ABAP Consultant

Role & responsibilities

->Develop, design, code, and test custom ABAP programs and reports based on business requirements.
->Collaborate with functional consultants and business teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
->Debug, optimize, and troubleshoot existing ABAP code to improve system performance and resolve issues.
->Implement user exits, BADI (Business Add-ins), and BAPIs (Business Application Programming Interfaces) for enhancing standard SAP functionality.
->Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environment.
->Knowledge of OData, CDS views, and other modern SAP technologies.
->Create and maintain SAP scripts, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
->Work on SAP enhancements, modifications, and interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, BDC, ALE, etc.).
->Perform data migration using tools like LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) or BDC.
->Develop workflows, reports, and batch jobs.
->Participate in system upgrades, support packages, and performance-tuning efforts.
->Maintain and update technical documentation.
->Collaborate with cross-functional teams in SAP projects, ensuring timely delivery.
->Knowledge in SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration) will be an added advantage.
->Strong hands-on experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI.

Preferred candidate profile

* 3-5 years of experience

* SAP Hana ABAP experience

* Good communication skills
