Job Purpose

To deliver high-quality training in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and industry applications. The role includes curriculum development, hands-on technical training, mentorship, and collaboration with industry partners to enhance students' employability.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Training:

• Conduct undergraduate and postgraduate courses in AI, ML, Deep Learning, Data Science, and Big Data Analytics.
• Deliver practical, hands-on training using programming languages such as Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and SQL.
• Develop real-world projects, coding challenges, and case studies to enhance student learning.

Curriculum Development:

• Design/update courses to reflect industry trends, emerging AI/ML technologies, and data science methodologies.
• Integrate capstone projects, hackathons, and industry collaborations into the curriculum.

Mentorship & Industry Collaboration:

• Guide students in AI/ML projects, Kaggle competitions, and open-source contributions.
• Build partnerships with AI-driven companies, research labs, and startups to provide internships and placements.
• Organize guest lectures, workshops, and hands-on bootcamps with industry experts.

Research & Development:

• Encourage students to publish in AI/ML conferences, journals, and IEEE/ACM competitions.
• Stay updated with AI research advancements and contribute to interdisciplinary projects.

Professional Development & Administration:

• Engage in faculty development programs, online certifications, and AI/ML training courses.
• Support accreditation processes, committees, and university events.

Qualifications

Essential:

• M.Tech/M.S./Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML teaching, research, or industry training.
• Strong programming expertise in Python, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Data Science libraries.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and MLOps tools.

Preferred:

• Industry experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or Big Data Analytics.
• Track record of publishing in reputed AI/ML journals and conferences.
• Experience in securing research grants, consultancy projects, or AI startup incubation.
• Knowledge of AutoML, Generative AI, Edge AI, and LLMs (Large Language Models).

Skills & Competencies

Required:

• Expertise in AI/ML algorithms, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
• Strong knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver technical training effectively.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Pandas, and NumPy.

Desirable:

• Certifications in AI/ML (Google AI, AWS AI/ML, Microsoft AI, TensorFlow Developer).
• Experience in online teaching, MOOCs, and LMS platforms (Moodle, Coursera, Udemy, edX, etc.).
• Knowledge of AI Ethics, Responsible AI, and Fairness in ML models.
