Job Summary: Python Developer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Python development and expertise in Python-related frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with Big Data technologies and a proven track record in digital forensic data analytics projects. The candidate will possess expertise in developing efficient algorithms, utilizing natural language processing (NLP) techniques, and employing machine learning to extract structured information from unstructured data sources.

Responsibilities:

1. Python Development:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance and scalable Python applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
2. Framework Expertise:
• Demonstrate proficiency in Python-related frameworks, ensuring efficient and maintainable code.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in Python development and frameworks.
• Develop algorithms and methodologies to extract metadata from logs and various unstructured file formats.
• Apply natural language processing and machine learning techniques to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of metadata extraction.
• Support a variety of unstructured file formats, including but not limited to text, JSON, XML, CSV, and others.
• Implement validation processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of extracted metadata.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate metadata extraction into data processing pipelines and analytics platforms.
3. Big Data Technologies:
• Apply expertise in working with Big Data technologies, including but not limited to Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Develop data processing and analysis solutions for large-scale datasets.
4. Digital Forensic Data Analytics:
• Utilize experience in digital forensic data analytics to contribute to the development of tools and solutions.
• Work closely with forensic analysts to implement effective data processing and analysis workflows.
5. Code Optimization:
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the Python code.
• Implement best practices for code optimization and efficiency.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and project managers.
• Communicate effectively with team members to understand project requirements and provide timely updates.
7. Quality Assurance:
• Conduct thorough testing of Python code to ensure the reliability and accuracy of applications.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve issues.
8. Documentation:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and development processes.
• Ensure documentation is clear, organized, and accessible.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Proven expertise in Python-related frameworks (Django, Flask, etc.).
• Experience with NLP and machine learning for text analysis.
• Experience with relevant libraries and frameworks for NLP and machine learning (NLTK, SpaCy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.).
• Experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Strong understanding of digital forensic data analytics concepts and techniques.
• Familiarity with database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
