Role & responsibilities

Model Development & Implementation: Design, develop, train, and deploy generative AI models for a variety of healthcare applications.

Data Handling & Compliance: Work with complex and sensitive medical data, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and other data privacy standards. Implement data security and ethical guidelines to protect patient information.

Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with clinicians, researchers, and other engineers to understand healthcare needs and translate them into impactful AI solutions. Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. •

Model Evaluation & Optimization: Thoroughly evaluate the performance of AI models, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and healthcare and proactively explore new methodologies.

Technical Proficiency: Proven expertise in programming languages such as Python Strong practical experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar. Solid understanding of generative AI models including, but not limited to diffusion models and transformers. Experience with data manipulation, preprocessing, and analysis techniques for large datasets. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and deployment strategies. •

Healthcare Domain Expertise: Experience with handling and analyzing medical data (e.g., imaging data, clinical records, genomic data). Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and data privacy best practices. Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows. Experience in applying AI for at least one of the following healthcare applications: medical image analysis, drug discovery, personalized medicine, clinical decision support.
