KPIT - Senior Specialist - GPU (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior Specialist - System Performance / Optimization to identify, analyze, and optimize system performance across CPU, GPU, and other hardware components.

The role involves OS-level optimizations, system programming, and performance analysis to enhance overall system efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- System Performance Optimization : Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks across CPU, GPU, and other system devices.

- System Programming : Develop and implement system-level software, device drivers, and kernel modules on Linux or QNX.

- System Architecture : Collaborate with hardware engineers to enhance SOC/system architecture, DDR, bandwidth, and latency.

- Performance Analysis : Conduct profiling and performance testing to measure the effectiveness of optimizations.

- OS-Level Optimization : Utilize scheduling, resource management, and power management techniques to enhance performance.

- Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and validation teams for seamless integration.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in system programming on Linux or QNX with a focus on performance optimization.

- Strong knowledge of SOC/system architecture, DDR, bandwidth, and latency.

- Experience in optimizing CPU, GPU, and system devices through OS-level techniques.

- Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or Perl.

- Familiarity with OS scheduling, resource management, and power management.

- Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks
