Korvage - Data Engineer - Python (3-6 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Designing and managing data pipelines that extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into a DB.

- Developing and maintaining databases : Building and maintaining data storage systems that can manage large amounts of data.

- Ensuring data quality : Establishing processes and checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

- Creating data models : Developing and maintaining data models to facilitate efficient data analysis and reporting.

- Developing and maintaining data infrastructure : Ensuring that the infrastructure used to store and process data is scalable, reliable, and secure.

- Collaborating with other teams : Working closely with application development team and provide necessary data infrastructure required for them.

- Staying up-to-date with industry trends : Keeping abreast of new technologies and techniques in data engineering and incorporating them into the organization's data infrastructure as appropriate.

Skills Requirement :

- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.

- Previous experience of working in database management.

- Proficient in SQL and Python

- Experience in data-warehousing, ETL process and cloud-based data storage solutions.

- Ability to manage projects.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills.

- Good communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
