Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a proven track record in data analytics, reporting, ETL, and Hadoop data systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in building robust data pipelines, creating insightful reports, and troubleshooting pipeline issues. Proficiency in Python for automation tasks is essential, along with expertise in MySQL and SQL queries.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain ETL processes to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our systems.

- Design and implement data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

- Create and optimize complex SQL queries to extract insights and generate reports for stakeholders.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.

- Utilize Python scripting for automation tasks, enhancing efficiency in data processing and analysis workflows.

- Perform data quality assessments and implement strategies to address data integrity issues.

- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics, recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.

- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and ETL processes.

- Proficiency in SQL with demonstrated expertise in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.

- Strong programming skills in Python, with a focus on automation and data manipulation.

- Extensive experience working with MySQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and maintenance.

- Basic understanding of AWS services, particularly Redshift, for data warehousing and analytics.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
