Content Management

Our content development and experience team is looking for a senior technical writer comfortable with both the technical and the writing aspects of the job. The ideal candidate should have experience working with software technologies via investigation, experimentation, SME interaction, and creating content for a technical audience, especially developers.

Responsibilities :

• Develop, negotiate, and drive customer-focused content strategy in line with product strategy.
• Assess the need for, plan, and deliver a range of documentation for our developer audience, including API content, reference guides, conceptual content, how-to content, and release notes.
• Question and highlight inconsistencies, and seek simplification in the product, including UI and Code.
• Collaborate with other writers on the team to help scope and build developer documentation for the products and features they cover.
• Work with other writers and editors to improve how we write and approach content writing for the developers.
• Seek opportunities to automate regular tasks, such as generating ideas, editing content for language and clarity, generating sample codes, getting parameter definitions & data types from the codebase, etc.

Required Experience/Skills :

• 7+ years of experience writing technical, developer-focused content.
• Familiarity with programming concepts, REST API, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Familiarity with API documentation and design tools such as Swagger and Postman.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Web services technologies, APIs, and SDKs.
• Ability to read, understand, and build short code samples for APIs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Ability to work well in an agile environment.

Preferred qualifications :

• Bachelor s degree in science, technology, or communications.
