JOB TITLE: SALES MANAGER
DEPARTMENT: SALES & MARKETING
EXPERIENCED REQUIRED: 8+ YEARS
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Experience in similar industry or allied i.e. (Developing Companies, Acoustic Industries, Building material industries, architectural firms, wooden industry,
AGEING CRITERIA: Below 45 YEARS.
QUALIFICATION: MBA/BBA/ENGG/ARCHITECT/BSC/MSC/CBAP
(KEY SKILLS REQUIRED)

  1. Sales Strategy Development
  • Understanding market trends, competition, and customer needs to tailor sales efforts.
  • Ability to create and execute sales strategies to meet targets.

2. Market Research & Analysis

  • Expertise in analyzing market data to identify new business opportunities.
  • Skills in identifying target audiences, understanding customer pain points, and segmenting markets.

3. Lead Generation and Prospecting

  • Ability to generate quality leads through various channels (cold calls, networking, referrals, digital marketing, etc.).
  • Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential clients.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Developing strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools (like Salesforce, Hub Spot) to track sales activities, Nurturing long-term business relationships to ensure customer retention, and analyze performance. Maintaining accurate customer data to streamline communication and follow-up.

5. Negotiation Skills

  • Expertise in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
  • Ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with business objectives.

6. Communication & Presentation Skills

  • Clear and persuasive communication skills to pitch products or services to clients.
  • Ability to create compelling presentations for prospective clients and stakeholders.

7. Digital Marketing Knowledge

  • Understanding of online marketing strategies such as SEO, social media marketing, content marketing, and email campaigns.
  • Integrating sales and marketing strategies to generate leads and drive growth.

8. Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, and product development) to align business objectives.
  • Leadership qualities to manage, train, and motivate sales teams if required.


9. Adaptability & Problem-Solving

  • Flexibility to adapt strategies based on changing market conditions and customer needs.
  • Creative problem-solving to overcome sales barriers or objections.

10. Client-Centric Approach

  • Focusing on customer needs and delivering value through tailored solutions.
  • Building trust through exceptional customer service and post-sales support.

11. Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Ability to analyze data to optimize sales efforts and marketing campaigns.
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) like conversion rates, sales cycle time, and return on investment (ROI).

12. Communication and Presentation Skills

  • Effective Communication: Clearly conveying product offerings, technical specifications, and project proposals to clients, internal teams, and suppliers.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to present and pitch ideas convincingly, whether in meetings, conferences, or client presentations.
  • Written Communication: Crafting professional emails, proposals, reports, and contracts that accurately represent the companys offerings.

13. Cultural Sensitivity

  • Understanding Diverse Client Needs: Recognizing that projects for different regions or cultures may require specific design approaches, such as traditional or modern wooden structures.
  • International Business: For larger companies, dealing with international clients and understanding cultural norms or preferences for designs and materials.

14. Market Segmentation: Identifying and targeting different customer segments (e.g., architects, project managers, business owners) for custom wooden solutions or specialized auditorium/studio setups.

  • Industry Knowledge Understanding of Materials and Manufacturing: Knowledge of different types of wood, finishes, and materials used in auditorium and studio construction is critical. Understanding the production process, quality standards, and sustainability aspects is essential.
  • Awareness of Trends: Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in auditorium design, acoustic engineering, and studio setups (e.g., home studios, recording environments).
