Job Description
- Drive harmonious Industrial Relations through strong workforce conduct & discipline policies & practices.
- Ensure consistent & thorough compliance with all applicable labor & industrial statutes for both plants.
- Manage workforce communication & participation forums such as Work Committees, canteen committees, and transport committees.
- Put in place necessary systems, processes & metrics for fair & firm employee relations management that stand the scrutiny of both external & internal audits.
- Represent both plants during interactions with/inspection by labor authorities/officials and ensure that all inspection records & returns are accurately completed & submitted on time.
- Build strong & effective external networks i.e., with other industries and in industrial bodies, and build Kohler’s presence, voice & image in such forums.
- Drive industry-wide benchmarking of wage levels & best-in-class workforce management practices and implement initiatives that help us attract, retain & develop a capable workforce, particularly across critical skill areas across both plants.
