We are seeking a ServiceNow Software Engineer with strong experience in Portal development, to join our team of highly talented developers to build and greatly enhance user experience across the ServiceNow platform. You will implement dynamic ServiceNow Portal solutions and end-user interfaces on the ServiceNow platform. What will you be doing?

• Provide day-to-day support and administration of ServiceNow
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues not only limited to ServiceNow but also any plugins or 3rd party connectors.
• Conceptualize design, implement, and develop solutions for complex systems/programs independently
• ITSM administration, including customer module development, etc.
• Knowledge of applications supporting the ITIL process - Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Service, and Catalog Management.
• Develop systems integrations and process automation
• Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs including advanced scripting of each (where applicable)
• Demonstrate the ability to make sound judgments based on training, knowledge, resources, and situational awareness
• Coordinate application and platform upgrades & cloning
• Pushing codes to production after successful testing and UAT on a weekly basis
• Understand business requirements and be able to provide reports/dashboards/analytics
• Build business process documentation for each module of ServiceNow (Incident/Problem/Change/Service Catalog, etc.)
• Manage development status using SDLC
• Help refine the concurrency standard for Service Portal implementations
• Build custom widgets as necessary to meet customer needs
• Lead UI/UX design sessions
• Implement dynamic and responsive Service Portal and end-user interfaces on the ServiceNow Platform
• Research required information using available resources and follow standard processes and procedures.

Required skills & experience:

• Strong UI programming skills for pixel-perfect UI experience in Web UI, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, Angular JS, or similar JS frameworks.
• Experience with ServiceNow Portal- HTML, CSS, AngularJS, SASS, Bootstrap, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, Python, and other related technologies
• Strong with Mobile Responsive layouts
• Strong interaction with REST APIs and other webhooks
• Exposure to design patterns
• Good Understanding of object-oriented and relational database design.
• 3rd Party Integrations Development (REST, SOAP, MID Servers, etc)
• Solid understanding of building performant and scalable user interfaces with large-scale data
• Experience working on portal platforms: SharePoint, LumApps, Salesforce, Zendesk, and other related platforms with portal capabilities
• Solid understanding of building performant and scalable user interfaces with large-scale data

Preferred/desired skills & experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a developer on ServiceNow or similar platforms
• Experience with ServiceNow Service Portal and/or Employee Center Implementation - Implement dynamic and responsive Service Portal and end-user interfaces on the ServiceNow Platform
• Experience in ServiceNow Application Development
• Directed design, consultative requirements capture leveraging Agile/Scrum, ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and CSM frameworks
• 3rd Party integration development (REST, SOAP, MID Servers, etc)
• Knowledge of ReactJS and Python is a plus
• Understanding of object-oriented and relational database design.

The candidate must be willing and able to continue their education within the ServiceNow platform and beyond. It is expected that the candidate will be able to complete ServiceNow competency Certifications as well as Module Accreditations.
