Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to drive our national and international sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, market expansion, and global business development in the manufacturing sector. This role requires a strategic leader with an understanding of manufacturing and a proven ability to lead high-performance sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue growth in domestic and international markets.
  • Identify new market opportunities in railway, engineering goods, oil and gas, aerospace, heavy engineering, defense, mining, automotive sectors.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring high conversion rates and strong customer engagement.
  • Expand export sales, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and documentation.
  • Strengthen relationships with key customers, and PSUs.

Market Expansion & Competitive Positioning

  • Identify pricing and market product trends, customer needs, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Analyze competitor activities, pricing models, and market dynamics to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Represent KISCO at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to strengthen brand recognition and business outreach.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team for both national and international markets.
  • Manage sales targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks to drive accountability and results.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centric sales practices.

Revenue Growth & Strategic Reporting

  • Drive profitability and revenue expansion, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide insightful reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and payment terms to optimize margins.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 15 years in B2B sales, with at least 8 years in a leadership role in the steel, metal, or manufacturing sector.
  • Education: Bachelors/Master’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of steel and its applications
  • International Sales Exposure: Experience or understanding of export sales, international market expansion, and client handling.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional team management, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in ERP systems, CRM tools, and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently for business development and client engagement domestically and internationally.
