Job Description : Lighting Designer
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Lighting Designer to collaborate with our
sales, estimating, and project management teams. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in
architectural lighting design to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs while
leveraging the premium products we distribute. This remote role offers the flexibility to work
from anywhere while contributing to prestigious projects, building strong industry relationships,
and driving the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design Development: Collaborate with clients, architects, interior designers, and
contractors to create comprehensive lighting designs tailored to high-end residential and
renovation projects.
• Lighting Plans and Documentation: Produce detailed lighting layouts, renderings, and
specifications using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, or similar).
• Product Expertise: Recommend lighting products from our catalog to meet design goals,
technical requirements, and client preferences.
• Client Engagement: Participate in virtual meetings to understand project goals, present
design concepts, and provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Energy Efficiency and Compliance: Incorporate energy-efficient solutions and ensure
designs meet relevant codes and standards.
• Project Support: Assist with product selection, coordination, and troubleshooting during
installation to ensure design intent is achieved.
• Education and Training: Provide training for internal teams and clients on design
trends, lighting technologies, and product features.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Must have experience working on projects in the U.S. market, including familiarity with
relevant codes, standards, and client expectations.
• 3+ years of experience in architectural lighting design, preferably with high-end
residential or renovation projects.
• Proficiency in lighting design software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of lighting technologies, energy-efficient solutions, and control
systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and able to work East
Coast hours.
