AV Specialist

Role & responsibilities

AV Setup & Operation:

• Set up and operate AV equipment, including projectors, LED walls, sound systems, microphones, video conferencing systems.
• Configure and test AV systems for live events, ensuring optimal audio and video quality.
• Provide technical support during events, handling live streaming, recordings, and real-time troubleshooting.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Perform routine checks, maintenance, and software updates on AV equipment.
• Troubleshoot AV issues promptly to minimize downtime during events.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and servicing of AV equipment when required.

Event Coordination & Support:

• Collaborate with event organizers, clients, and internal teams to understand AV requirements.
• Conduct pre-event testing and rehearsals to ensure a smooth event experience.
• Provide technical assistance to speakers, presenters, and exhibitors on AV usage.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Document AV setups, configurations, and troubleshooting logs for future reference.
• Adhere to safety regulations and operational guidelines for AV equipment usage.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of experience in AV operations within convention centers, hotels, or event venues.
• Proficiency in operating AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron), sound mixers, and video switchers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in AV hardware and software.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced event environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with event organizers and technicians.

- In case candidates who submitted any false or incorrect documents are hired, their employment contract will be immediately cancelled upon detection and confirmation. They will also be restricted from applying for five years from the date of detection
