Multimedia Designer

Role & responsibilities

• Video Editing:
• Create compelling video content that tells the stories of the communities and causes we support.
• Edit raw footage into engaging videos for social media, fundraising campaigns, events, websites and other outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with the program team to develop storyboards, concepts, and final edits and produce documentaries, testimonials, and awareness videos, develop storyboards, concepts, and final edits.
• Apply effects, transitions, and animations to enhance video content.
• Ensure consistency in style, branding, and tone across all video content.
• Graphic Design:
• Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for for social media, newsletters, brochures, posters, and other outreach materials.
• Design marketing materials, social media posts, banners, brochures, and other visual content.
• Ensure that all designs align with our branding and messaging guidelines.
• Develop creative concepts for awareness campaigns and fundraising events.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and tools to bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Collaborate with the communications team to produce materials that resonate with our target audiences.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video editing and graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong skills in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Passion for social causes and a commitment to the mission of our organization.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex ideas into visually appealing content.
