Job Description
- CSSD planning, in case a new CSSD has to be constructed (location for CSSD, required equipments, manpower)
- To make necessary arrangements (man, material and time) for proper cleaning of CSSD equipments / tables / racks and CSSD Department (sweeping, carbolization of sterile store).
- To make proper standard arrangement of required instruments/instruments sets//dressing materials /linen for user departments to their satisfaction.
- Making arrangement of required equipments, man and materials for CSSD for smooth functioning.
- To make necessary man power arrangement and fixing time table including duty roster
- Making arrangements for maintenance/repair/AMC of equipments of CSSD.
- To ensure service discipline/punctuality/loyalty amongst staff
- To do yearly/half yearly assessment of CSSD staff from time to time, recommend for promotion
- To see welfare of working staff of CSSD within frame work of hospital administration solve their problems
- To have frequent liaison with user departments and try to settle if they have any requirement/grievance / expectation / suggestion.
- To take note of superior officers instruction/order and get it done on priority
- To inform the HOD of CSSD about day to day work and incidents
- Responsible for all other principal duties and key tasks assigned by the management from time to time
- 1 to 2 years of experience
- Receive the instruments form all wards including OT as per checklist.
- Washing and drying the instruments as per protocol
- Help the CSSD technicians for packing Instruments for Autoclave and ETO machine.
- Help the CSSD technicians for packing Instruments for Autoclave and ETO
- Ensure proper storage of sterile items.
- Perform any other task as instructed by the CSSD Technician or Supervisor.
- Ensure CSSD area is always neat, clean and dry.
