Job Description
- Process all the samples brought to laboratory
- Verify test procedures are performed in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Collect samples while undertaking precautionary measures against infection and contamination.
- To apply theoretical knowledge and do clinical correlation of test results
- Differentiate between significant and insignificant laboratory findings based on patient??s clinical history and tests results and documentation of the same.
- Analyze and report any unmatched specimen findings to higher authorities
- Ensure implementation of waste disposal policy by proper disposal of wastes such as sharps, biohazards in separate containers
- Review data for precision and repeatability.
- Review test runs, maintenance, quality control, calibrations and proficiency test
- Documentation and maintenance of accurate patient records and statistics
- Responsible for all other principal duties and key tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
