Main responsibilities:
- Design and develop front-end user interfaces for customer-facing websites and applications.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Follow coding standards and build appropriate unit tests, integration, and deployment test scripts.
- Provide modular and reusable code to use in CMS systems.
- Ensure best practices and optimal performance from a front-end perspective.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance.
- Work cross-functionally with their peers to come to aligned and responsive implementations, achieving pixel perfect implementations
Key Qualifications and Experiences:
- bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of IT experience in developing scalable consumer-facing digital solutions.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS.
- Experience with client-side scripting, REST/JSON APIs, and responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
- Exposure to cross-browser and multiple device testing and debugging.
- Experience with Sitecore CMS and other CMS systems.
- Familiarity with Git and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Storybook or similar platforms.
- Experience with front-end development tools and practices, including code reviews and continuous integration
