Role Expectations - Community & Engagement Manager
Salary Bracket: 50K - 60K
If you're applying, you should have prior experience as Community & Engagement Manager role in a restaurant, bar, or brewpub!!
The Community & Engagement manager is the person who will drive all engagement and local marketing activities (tie ups, corporate visits) in and around the restaurant.
His/Her key responsibilities will center around engaging customers, building relationships, and fostering a fun and positive vibe for guests and help make BYBG a great neighbourhood place.
1. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regular customers.
- Ensure a positive experience for guests by engaging them on social media platforms and in person.
- Address customer complaints and feedback in a professional manner.
- Monitor online reviews (e.g., Pet Pooja, Zomato, etc.) and respond promptly.
2. Event Planning & Promotion
- Organize events, and special promotions to attract guests and enhance brand visibility.
- Work with the marketing team to create online campaigns for events and promotions.
- Coordinate with vendors for event-related supplies or services.
- Ensure events align with the brand's voice and values.
3. Community Building & Local restaurant marketing
- Create and nurture a sense of community, both online and in-person, through frequent interactions.
- Develop strategies for turning first-time visitors into regulars.
- Encourage social gatherings and create an environment where people feel welcomed.
- Organize loyalty programs and initiatives that reward customer engagement.
4. Brand Advocacy & customer experience
Brand Advocacy :
- Building Brand Loyalty: Foster a strong connection between the brand and its customers by creating engaging experiences that reflect the brewery's values, heritage, and craftsmanship.
- Influencer & Partnership Collaborations: Identify and collaborate with local influencers, brand ambassadors, and industry partners to amplify brand awareness.
- Community Engagement: Develop initiatives that encourage customer participation, such as exclusive events, tastings, brewery tours, and loyalty programs.
- Social media & Digital Advocacy: Monitor and encourage organic brand conversations across social media and review platforms, ensuring a positive brand image.
Customer Experience
- Guest Interaction & Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring personalized interactions and a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
- Feedback Collection & Service Enhancement: Implement structured feedback mechanisms to gather insights and continuously improve service standards.
- Staff Training & Alignment: Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure they embody the brand's ethos and deliver exceptional service that enhances customer satisfaction.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high service standards and customer retention.
By integrating brand advocacy with superior customer experience, this role ensures that every guest interaction fosters brand loyalty and drives long-term engagement.
Experience: 2-3 years in the above domain with a known brand/bar.
