KGiSL - Java Software Engineer - Spring Boot Frameworks (5-8 yrs)

We are seeking a talented Java Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of architecture, design, development, testing, and operations. You will analyze complex problems and deliver reliable, scalable software solutions to drive innovation and meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and features.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver quality outcomes.

- Ensure the scalability and reliability of software solutions, including migration projects.

- Participate in code reviews, refactor existing code, and improve design quality.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support application features.

- Manage the development process using SDLC tools like Jira, Git, and Confluence.

Skills and Experience :

Must-Have :

- 5+ years' of practical experience coding in Core Java

- Experience with modern Java functionality and experience with SOLID principles and functional programming

- Experience with Spring and Spring Boot

- Understanding of microservices architecture

- Ability to review, refactor, and improve the design of existing code

- Experience with SDLC tools (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins, JIRA, GIT, Confluence)

- Experience using and developing RESTful APIs

Good to Have :

- Experience in continuous integration tools such as Jira, version control software (e.g. Bitbucket), build tool (e.g. Bamboo), deployment tool (e.g. uDeploy)

- Knowledge in AWS will be added advantage
