Negotiation:
- Negotiating pricing and terms to reach a mutually agreeable deal.
Closing sales:
- Securing commitments from customers and finalizing the sale.
Account management:
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers, providing ongoing support, and identifying potential upselling opportunities.
Sales reporting:
- Tracking sales activities and performance metrics, providing regular updates to management.
Essential Skills:
Excellent communication skills:
- Articulating information clearly, actively listening to customer needs, and adapting communication style to different individuals.
Persuasive selling skills:
- Effectively presenting the value proposition of the product or service to convince customers to buy.
Product knowledge:
- Deep understanding of the features, benefits, and applications of the products or services being sold.
Time management:
- Prioritizing leads, managing call schedules, and efficiently working through the sales pipeline.
Resilience:
- Handling rejection and maintaining a positive attitude when facing challenges
Customer service orientation:
- Building rapport with customers, addressing their concerns, and providing a positive experience.
Technical proficiency:
- Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales tools to manage leads and track progress.
