Accountant

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our growing team.

• Maintain and reconcile ledger accounts and financial statements.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule.
• Assist with the preparation of tax computations and returns.
• Assist with year-end audit preparation and audit process.
• Manage and maintain accounting records and files.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts on a regular basis.
• Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist with GST and ITR
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.

• Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in Indian accounting practices.
• Proficiency in Tally and Excel is a must.
