Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) with a proven track record in mobile handset sales to manage and expand our distributor network, handle a team of Sales Officers (SOs), and drive secondary sales in the assigned region. As the Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing distributor appointments, ensuring effective distributor management, and driving the overall sales performance of the region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Distributor Appointment & Management: Appoint and manage distributors in the assigned region, ensuring they meet sales and operational standards.

- Team Handling: Lead and motivate a team of Sales Officers (SOs) to achieve sales targets, provide guidance, and monitor performance.

- Secondary Sales Drive: Implement strategies to drive secondary sales, ensuring that products are sold through to end customers.

- Sales Target Achievement: Develop and execute action plans to achieve the region's sales targets, focusing on handset and mobile sales.

- Market Development: Identify potential business opportunities, manage key accounts, and expand the business in the assigned area.

- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with distributors, channel partners, and key stakeholders to ensure a smooth sales process.

- Reporting & Analysis: Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities, providing reports and insights to senior management.

- Sales Training & Support: Provide training and support to the SOs, helping them enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Required Candidate Profile:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in handset or mobile sales with a strong understanding of distributor management and B2B sales.

- Proven experience in channel sales, distributor sales, and managing secondary sales.

- Smart communication skills with the ability to build relationships with distributors and channel partners.

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

- Ability to drive performance and meet sales targets in a competitive market.

- Self-driven and goal-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
