Role & responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for raw materials and components.
• Place orders and monitor delivery schedules to meet production timelines.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to achieve cost-effective purchases.
• Conduct cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and budget adherence.
• Address any quality issues with suppliers and seek solutions.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure materials meet company standards and specifications.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and inventory status.

Skills and Qualifications

• Educational Background: A degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is often preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in procurement or purchasing roles, ideally within the manufacturing or construction industry.
• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively deal with suppliers.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, assess supplier performance, and make informed decisions.
