AM- Purchase logistics (EXIM operation) -

Job Descriptions :

• Overseeing Import and Export Operations: Manage and coordinate the movement of goods across international borders, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations with Forwarders and CHA
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations, including customs laws, tariffs, SIMS and DGFT requirements.
• Supplier and Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to streamline processes and negotiate favorable terms.
• Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate logistics for international shipments, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Cost Analysis and Budgeting: Analyze costs associated with import operations, develop budgets, and identify areas for cost reduction.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to international trade, including delays, regulatory changes, and supply chain disruptions.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Regularly analyze trade data and trends to inform strategic decisions. Create reports for senior management on trade performance.

His main role is to calculate required order qty. and place order to factory/vendor.
And also communicate/negotiate/follow up delivery with factory/transporter until we receive stock at HO.
