Foundry Process Engineer Quality -

Job Descriptions :

1. Quality Management:
   • Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for the foundry, including thorough record-keeping.
   • Ensure adherence to internal procedures and work instructions.
2. Material and Process Analysis & Testing:
   • Conduct thorough analysis of metallic materials using various testing methods such as chemical, microstructural, mechanical, and hardness testing.
   • Interpret test results and provide recommendations for material improvement.
   • Perform specialized inspections as required.
3. Quality Control:
   • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure the consistency and reliability of metallurgical products.
   • Investigate and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
   • Utilize problem-solving tools such as 8D, Why-Why, Fishbone, 7 QC tools, and 5 Core tools of quality.
4. Process Optimization:
   • Collaborate with production teams to optimize metallurgical processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental sustainability.
   • Implement improvements to enhance material properties and production yields.
5. Failure Analysis:
   • Conduct failure analysis investigations on metallurgical components to identify causes of failures and recommend preventive measures.
6. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and quality control to achieve common goals and address challenges.
   • Interface daily with clients regarding work priorities and progress of projects.
