Position Overview:
- We are looking for an experienced and strategic CEO /DIRECTOR to start a profitable Cold Storage Company from scratch.
- The CEO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, including acquisition of land at strategic location, business development, operations, regulatory compliance, and financial management.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the Cold Storage industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep passion for this sunrise sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to enhance market position and profitability of the cold storage facility.
- Identify new market opportunities for expansion, including potential new customer segments or geographic regions.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
Operations Management:
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the cold storage facility, ensuring efficient inventory management, proper temperature controls, and adherence to food safety standards.
- Monitor and manage warehouse capacity, optimizing storage space utilization.
- Oversee logistics and distribution processes, including inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
Financial Performance:
- Develop and manage the company's budget, monitoring expenses and revenue to maximize profitability.
- Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Make informed investment decisions regarding facility upgrades, equipment maintenance, and expansion projects.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing team across all departments including operations, maintenance, sales, and customer service.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and compliance within the organization.
- Recruit, develop, and retain key talent within the cold storage industry.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any concerns.
- Develop sales strategies to acquire new customers and expand market reach.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to optimize revenue.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, including guidelines.
- Manage quality control procedures and maintain necessary documentation to demonstrate compliance.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cold storage operations and logistics management.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Financial acumen and ability to analyze financial data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build customer relationships.
- Degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
