Job Title: Diamond Inventory In-charge

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Diamond Inventory In-charge to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the diamond inventory management process, ensuring timely and accurate supply of diamonds to the factory as per the Bill of Materials (BOM) for various products. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing diamond specifications, including size, color, and quality, while maintaining a keen focus on meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diamond Inventory Management:

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of diamonds, tracking quantities, specifications, and locations within the facility.
• Implement and uphold efficient inventory control processes to minimize discrepancies and ensure seamless supply chain operations.

2. BOM Compliance:

• Collaborate with production teams to understand the Bill of Materials (BOM) for each product, ensuring that diamond supply aligns with production requirements.
• Regularly audit diamond inventory against BOM specifications and adjust as necessary to meet production demands.

3. Quality Control:

• Inspect incoming diamonds to ensure they meet specified size, color, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to maintain high-quality standards and resolve any discrepancies in delivered diamonds.

4. TAT Compliance:

• Establish and enforce timelines for the procurement and delivery of diamonds to the factory, ensuring adherence to Turnaround Time (TAT) commitments.
• Proactively identify and address any potential delays in the supply chain to maintain optimal production schedules.

5. Team Management:

• Lead and manage a team of Diamond Bagger, Assortment, Fluting and quality control personnel.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure effective execution of responsibilities.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

• Generate regular reports on diamond inventory levels, quality control metrics, and supply chain performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of diamond specifications, transactions, and supplier communications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree.
• Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in the diamond or jewelry industry.
• Strong knowledge of diamond specifications, grading, and quality standards.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in team management and leadership.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Proficiency in relevant software for inventory management and data analysis.
