BIM Engineer

Objective of the role: : To produce construction documents for one or more disciplines using latest versions of Autodesk's Revit platform.

• Spatial Coordination of Disciplines, gathering all disciplines BIM models including civil and preforming coordination tasks.
• Conducting Clash-detection and conflict resolution. Coaching each discipline on leveraging Clash-detection tools on their own discipline to proactively build and design in a smart fashion.
• Coordinating with professional staff on reviewing models and comments via Design-Review using BIM 360 tools (Docs and Design).
• Ensure that BIMs are used appropriately to test design requirements / criteria for functionality.
• Interface with Design Team, BIM and IT Managers to ensure software is installed and operating properly.
• Assure that the design deliverables specified in the contract are provided in accordance with the formats specified and in the case of work being done by external consultants, perform an role that involves detailed review of BIM related deliverables as per the BIM execution plan.
• Coordinate BIM file exchange and archiving of milestone submittals.
• Coordinate construction sequencing and scheduling activities using Revit and Navisworksto integrate them with Construction schedules from MS Project or similar scheduling software.
• Coordinate technical discipline BIM development, standards, data requirements, etc. as required with the Design Team BIM Manager.
