BIM Manager / BIM Engineer

Summary

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager with a strong background in process plant engineering and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with BIM tools, particularly with a focus on managing complex process plant projects. Expertise in AutoDesk Revit is highly advantageous. This role involves overseeing the setup and configuration of BIM360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), implementing BIM processes throughout the construction phase, and ensuring the accurate preparation of Final As-Built Models.

Core responsibilities

• Manage the setup and configuration of BIM360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) specifically for process plant projects, ensuring all data and models are effectively managed and integrated.
• Implement and manage BIM processes within the construction workflow, with a strong emphasis on mechanical systems and components in process plants.
• Maintain and update models and associated information based on the BIM Execution Plan, ensuring that all models accurately reflect the design and operational requirements of the process plant.
• Conduct periodic quality control checks on all models and associated documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor the BIM schedule closely and manage the BIM team to ensure timely delivery of all BIM deliverables, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
• Provide in-house training to engineers, designers, and modelers on BIM best practices, particularly within the context of process plants, to foster effective collaboration and ensure high-quality outputs.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including project management, design, engineering, and BIM teams, both locally and internationally, to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.
• Utilize and promote best practices in BIM software, with a particular focus on Autodesk Revit and its application in process plant projects, to streamline workflows and enhance project outcomes.

Requirement

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM management within process plant environments, with a focus on mechanical systems and equipment.
• Extensive experience with BIM software, including Bentley Systems and Autodesk Revit. Proficiency with Revit is highly advantageous.
• Experience with BIM360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for managing project data and collaboration.
• Strong ability to work under pressure, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in English with excellent communication and writing skills to effectively coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of process plant design and mechanical systems, with the ability to integrate these into BIM workflows.
• Experience in semiconductor projects is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate potential issues and provide proactive solutions.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a BIM team effectively.
