Job Description
Email Marketing Specialist (Remote) (Full Time)
Responsibilities:
- Develop Email Marketing Strategies: Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns. Develop a personalization strategy to increase engagement.
- Content Creation and Campaign Execution: Draft email content that is engaging, accurate, and on-brand. Oversee the layout of emails, often using HTML or email software.
- List Management: Manage email lists, including segmentation based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.).
- Ensure Compliance: Make sure all email campaigns comply with current email best practices, laws, and regulations (like CAN-SPAM).
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements. Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts.
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests on various email campaigns to establish the most effective ones.
- Marketing Automation and Workflows: Understand and implement marketing automation technology to nurture leads and contribute to customer retention.
- Cross-team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure the consistency of brand messaging.
- Stay Updated on Trends: Keep abreast of email marketing trends and best practices.
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with email marketing tools, marketing automation platforms, and CRM systems.
- Copywriting Skills: Excellent written communication and copywriting skills for crafting email content.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Data-Driven Insights: Provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing campaigns based on performance data.
- Remote Work Proficiency: Capable of managing tasks independently in a remote setting with reliable internet, proficient in tools like Google Meet, Slack, Zoom, and Teams.
