Job Description

K.R. Mangalam University is seeking a strategic and proactive Recruitment Manager to drive talent acquisition for faculty, administrative, and support staff. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire recruitment process, aligning hiring practices with the university s vision and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute recruitment strategies that align with the university s growth objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaboration: Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Sourcing & Outreach: Utilize job portals, campus drives, social media, and professional networks to attract a diverse candidate pool.
  • Brand Management: Promote the university s employer brand and highlight its academic culture.
  • Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings and coordinate with departments for final evaluations.
  • Data Management: Maintain the applicant tracking system and generate recruitment reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure recruitment practices comply with university policies and legal standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review and refine recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; master s preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in recruitment, ideally in the higher education sector.
Skills:
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Strategic mindset for developing effective recruitment strategies.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and best practices in recruitment.
Key Competencies:
  • Strategic Thinking: Develop long-term recruitment strategies.
  • Decision Making: Accurate candidate assessment and selection.
  • Relationship Building: Effective stakeholder collaboration.
