Position Title: Script / Copy Writer

Position Overview: KL University is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter with expertise in crafting engaging content for various video formats. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of storytelling, excellent command of language, and the ability to write compelling scripts for short and long-form videos. Proficiency in Telugu, Hindi, and English is highly desirable, along with the ability to analyse market trends and conceptualize innovative video ideas. With 2-3 years of relevant experience, the candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the university's digital and video communication.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Development

• Write compelling scripts and copies for promotional, educational, and branding videos.
• Create engaging and audience-centric content for short and long video formats tailored to various platforms, such as YouTube, social media, and websites.
• Develop creative concepts and narratives that align with the universitys goals and resonate with the target audience.

2. Market Analysis and Strategy

• Research and analyse competitors video content and strategies to identify trends and opportunities for innovation.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to conceptualize and implement unique video ideas that stand out in the market.

3. Multilingual Writing

• Craft high-quality content in Telugu, Hindi, and English, ensuring cultural and linguistic appropriateness for diverse audiences.
• Adapt scripts and content for different languages without losing the original essence or message.

4. Collaboration and Conceptualization

• Work closely with video production teams to ensure scripts are effectively translated into visuals.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative storylines and video concepts.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather input and feedback for refining scripts and content

5. Quality Assurance

• Edit and proofread scripts to maintain consistency, accuracy, and high-quality standards.
• Ensure all content adheres to the universitys branding and tone guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors or masters degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Film Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 2-3 years in copywriting, screenwriting, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in Telugu, Hindi, and English, with excellent writing and editing skills in all three languages.
• Familiarity with scriptwriting for video content, including promotional and educational videos.
• Understanding of market trends and content strategies for digital platforms.
