QA Engineer - Metrology

Key Responsibilities:

• Measurement to be carried out during manufacturing process, records and analyze data.
• Measurement to be carried out for final outsources items at incoming stage, records and analyze data.
• Measurement of ready and pre dispatch machine test pieces, components, records and analyze data.
• Understand the non-conforming report for quality decision authority.
• Understand the finish & process component identification by tag.
• Understand the permanent identification mark on defined components.
• Updated list of instruments & gauges.
• Perform scheduled calibration of instrument & gauges against the given SOPs in line with the standards.
• Perform repairing of instruments and gauges.
• Prepare & maintain calibration & repairing records and analyze data.
• Issue the measuring tools to multiuser.
• Maintain work environment of metrology room.
• Remain familiar with technology and standards related to job requirements.
• Maintain records in MS office, SAP, Finix and other ERP.
• To follow ISO management system.
• Participate in internal/ external audits.
• Participate in problem solving activity.
• Participate to implement 5S+S, quality circle, Kaizen and other lean tools.
