The Role As a Manager / Senior Project Engineer, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc. Oversee and manage engineering projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. Provide technical guidance and solutions throughout the project lifecycle, from design and engineering to construction and commissioning. Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Facilitate clear communication and resolve any issues or conflicts. Ensure that all project activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management plans. Monitor project performance to ensure quality standards are met. Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and documentation. Develop and manage project budgets. Track expenditures and implement cost-control measures to prevent budget overruns. Prepare and present project status reports, including progress updates, financial summaries, and performance metrics, to senior management and stakeholders. Mentor and guide junior engineers and project team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
About You To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field). A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is an added advantage. Minimum of 18+ years of experience in engineering project management within the oil and gas/refineries/petrochemical/chemical industry. Proven track record of successful project delivery. Strong technical and engineering knowledge relevant to oil and gas/refineries/petrochemical/chemical projects. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Proficient in project management software and tools. Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
