Job Title: City Lead - Commercial Office Space Leasing

Job Summary:
As a City Lead - Commercial Office Space Leasing, you will be responsible for leading and growing the commercial leasing business in Mumbai. This role involves managing end-to-end real estate transactions, representing both landlords and tenants, driving business development, and overseeing P&L management. You will work closely with developers, occupiers, and investors to structure leasing solutions that align with market trends and client needs.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Business Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for commercial office leasing in Mumbai.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive growth through client acquisition and market expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including landlords, corporate tenants, developers, and investors.
2. Transactions & Deal Execution
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end leasing process, including sourcing opportunities, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Provide strategic advisory services to both landlords and tenants, ensuring optimal lease structuring.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify trends and opportunities in commercial leasing.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and compliance teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
3. Landlord & Tenant Representation
- Represent landlords in positioning their assets effectively in the market, maximizing occupancy and rental yields.
- Advise corporate occupiers on space selection, lease structuring, and cost optimization.
- Leverage industry relationships to match tenant requirements with suitable properties.
4. P&L Management & Revenue Growth
- Own and drive the financial performance of the city leasing vertical, including revenue forecasting and profitability analysis.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, ensuring competitive yet profitable deal structures.
- Manage budgets, control operational expenses, and drive efficiency in business operations.
5. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of leasing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, research, finance, and legal teams to support business goals.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings to enhance market presence.
Key Requirements:
1. Experience & Expertise
- 15+ years of experience in commercial real estate leasing, transactions, and advisory services.
- Proven track record in commercial leasing, tenant and landlord representation, and deal structuring.
- Strong network in Mumbai's real estate ecosystem, including developers, investors, and corporate occupiers.
2. Skills & Competencies
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to analyze market trends and align leasing strategies with business goals.
- Negotiation & Deal-Making: Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close high-value transactions.
- P&L Management: Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and driving revenue growth.
- Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of Mumbai's commercial real estate landscape.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent degree in Real Estate, Business, or Finance (preferred but not mandatory).
- Certifications in Real Estate or Corporate Leasing (RICS, CCIM, etc.) are a plus.
