Job Title: Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts

Location: Powai, Mumbai

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reports to: Head of Finance

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing the financial operations and accounting functions of the real estate services company.

This role involves overseeing financial reporting, tax compliance, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of real estate finance, and the ability to lead a finance team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to management.
• Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits like Statutory audit, GST Audit o Prepare MIS and perform a comparative analysis

• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors and collection from clients.
• Reconcile bank statements and oversee cash flow management.

• Tax Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including GST, income tax etc.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns.
• Liaise with tax authorities and consultants for any tax-related matters.

• Financial Controls & Compliance:
• Implement and maintain strong financial controls and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Regularly review and update financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Experience: o 6-8 years of experience in finance and accounting. Proven experience in managing financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws.

• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
