Jumbotail - Senior Manager - Supply Chain Operations (5-15 yrs)

Jumbotail logistics is the best in class technology driven B2B food and grocery supply chain already present in 25 cities with a footprint in 16 cities (10+ lakh sqft).

We're looking for a leadership position in our supply chain central operations team who can:

- Build the supply side network for Jumbotail Supply Chain - first mile and middle middle capabilities

- Work closely with category functions to understand their logistics needs primarily from a logistics and warehousing standpoint with the goal of improving predictability and cost efficiency on the supply side.

- Create partnerships with 3PL providers for PTL, FTL or warehousing needs in specific regions

- Create 'network' that can support short and long term needs of supply chain

- Convert the company strategy into hiring plans, budgetary requirements, execution plans for different functions within supply chain operations.

- Build supply chain capabilities internally/partnering with relevant 3PL partners to meet the business goals.

An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has :

- Entrepreneurial drive and ability to hustle; re in the belly to create a differentiating supply chain in the country. Strong desire to succeed and make a difference to Indian retail ecosystem

- Displayed capability of setting up supply chain and building network models with right service levels and cost structures.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of management

- Ability and willingness to thrive in an ever-changing, dynamic and fast-paced environment

- Graduate/Postgraduate from a recognized institution in engineering or supply chain/logistics or MBA Graduate

- 5-10 years of experience in supply chain - primarily central roles which require partnering with relevant stakeholders, building and setting up infrastructure and tracking capabilities.
