Jubilant Pharmova Limited
Jubilant Pharmova Limited (formerly Jubilant Life Sciences Limited) is a company with global presence that is involved in Radiopharma, Allergy Immunotherapy, CDMO Sterile Injectables, Contract Research Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CRDMO), Generics and Proprietary Novel Drugs businesses.
In the Radiopharma business, the Company is involved in manufacturing and supply of Radiopharmaceuticals with a network of 46 radio-pharmacies in the US. The Position
Organization- Jubilant Pharmova Limited
Designation Senior Research Scientist - Analytical R&D
Location- Nanjangud, Mysore
Key Responsibilities.
Analysis of medicinal chemistry compounds using chromatography and spectroscopy
- To develop method and to determine the purity of the organic compounds by HPLC, LCMS and by NMR
- Initially to develop the method on an analytical scale for the separation of organic compounds and to purity by preparative scale to get pure desired compound
- To identify the mass of the given organic compound by LCMS
- To develop and to determine the purity of the compound by GC
- Scouting, analyzing, processing, reporting of the compounds in the appropriate format
- Able to take up purification by Preparative HPLC to arrive at a pure desired compounds
- Will be able to do the calibrations of all the instrumental techniques and to record
- Able to analyses the solvents for the parameters like density, non-volatile matter, purity by GC
Processing, Integration and elucidation of structure of the compounds
- To understand the separation and to check the purity of the compound, clarify with the processing and integration by GC, HPLC and by LCMS for identification
- To identify the nature of proton by NMR analysis
- To carry out the 1D and 2D experiments complimenting each other to elucidate the structure
- Conducting literature search for the latest methods and validation for the similar compounds
- Communicate experimental outcome and provide routine updates to the reporting manager on status of the work plan for further modifications if required
Team work
- Coordination and Cooperation for arriving at a confirmed method for the purification and identification
- Structural elucidation for the compound for multiple stages of experiments
- To adhere to safety rules and regulations and to implement
- Good laboratory practices
Person Profile.
Education Qualification: Post Graduate in Science/ Doctorate
Experience Range : 8+ years
