Senior Chemist - Mana Pharma

  Job Summary:

  The Senior Chemist will lead R&D projects, play critical role in achieving process developments for the identified products. Ensure to follow ISO quality processes for documentation. Be a good team player and mentor junior team members. This role involves primarily discussing with seniors to plan the experiments to be conducted, take ownership in conducting experiments, analysing data, and present the outcome of the experiments to senior team. Should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve set targets.

  Key Responsibilities:

•   Lead R&D efforts to develop and improve pharmaceutical APIs and Intermediates.

•   Plan and perform laboratory research, analyse the experiments outcome, document the experiments process and outcome in LNBs and report the outcome to senior members of organisation.

•   Manage laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

•   Mentor junior chemists and provide technical expertise across teams.

•   Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and assist in audits.

•   Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation.

  Requirements:

•   Master s/Ph. D. degree in organic chemistry

•   2-5 years of experience in research and development in pharma APIs and Intermediates

•   Strong knowledge of chemical analysis techniques (e. g. , chromatography, spectroscopy).

•   Proven ability to lead projects, solve complex problems, and work in teams.

•   Excellent communication skills and familiarity with regulatory standards.
