Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Professional to drive the recruitment process for aerospace-related profiles, with a specific focus on hiring professionals skilled in drone systems and aerospace engineering. This individual will play a key role in sourcing and hiring senior engineers and specialists for our expanding aerospace division.

You will partner with engineering and management teams to understand the specific requirements for various aerospace roles and help build a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Sourcing: Lead the recruitment efforts for aerospace engineering roles, focusing on specialized positions in drone systems, UAV design, and aerospace technology.
  • Candidate Screening & Selection: Review resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidate qualifications to ensure alignment with JSWs requirements. Present a shortlist of the most qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Collaborative Hiring: Work closely with the engineering teams to understand the technical needs for each role, especially in drone system design and development. Align recruitment strategies to meet these needs.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with aerospace industry trends, including emerging drone technologies, to effectively source candidates with the right skills and experience.
  • Networking & Industry Outreach: Build and maintain a network of aerospace professionals through conferences, meetups, online forums, and LinkedIn. Attend industry events to increase JSW’s visibility as an employer of choice.
  • Employer Branding: Promote JSW Group as an employer of choice within the aerospace sector, especially among candidates specializing in drone systems and aerospace engineering.
  • Onboarding Support: Coordinate with HR to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they understand their role and the organizational culture.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve the recruitment process by adopting best practices and utilizing advanced recruitment tools and platforms.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A background in Engineering or Aerospace studies would be a plus.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of recruitment experience, with at least 4-5 years of experience specifically recruiting for aerospace or highly technical engineering roles, including drone systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with aerospace engineering roles, especially within the UAV/drone sector, including skills in aerodynamics, propulsion systems, flight control systems, and avionics.
  • Recruitment Tools: Expertise in using various recruitment tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, applicant tracking systems, etc.) to source top candidates.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and hiring managers effectively.
  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to build relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders across departments.
  • Location: Willingness to work from Mumbai (BKC) and engage with candidates globally.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working within the aerospace or drone industry, especially in hiring for technical roles such as aerospace engineers, UAV specialists, and drone system engineers.
  • Familiarity with aerospace-specific certifications and regulatory bodies (e.g., DGCA, FAA).
  • Experience in hiring for emerging technologies, including autonomous systems and AI-driven drone technologies.
