Job Description

You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Data Scientist. You have found the right team.

As a Data Scientist Associate in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.

Job Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of AI/ML solutions using state-of-the-art models (including LLM) for use cases such as Chat with Data, Document Q&A, Information Retrieval/Summarization, and Search.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and contribute to the translation of these requirements into data science projects.
Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and workflows for efficient data processing, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns, and perform statistical analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
Communicate findings and insights through clear visualizations and reports.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, and contribute to the adoption of new technologies within the team.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum 1 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related role.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for uncovering insights from data.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience with data preprocessing and data validation techniques.
Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries.
Exposure to cloud platforms and deployment of machine learning models.

Some teams have work life balance, not true for all though.

Dislikes

Slow career growth in terms of monetary increments and promotion. A lot of people got 0% hike and I personally got a lot less than the inflation as the hike.
